Barcelona midfielder Fermín López has ruled out a move to Manchester United, insisting he wants to remain at the Spanish club for the rest of his career.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford ahead of the January transfer window as United reportedly seek midfield reinforcements.
However, López dismissed the speculation after Barcelona’s 6-1 victory over Alavés on Saturday, October 31.
“I don’t pay attention to that kind of news. I want to stay here at Barça as long as possible,” he said.
“I hope to end my football career at this club and retire here.”
López further strengthened his reputation with an impressive performance against Alavés, scoring once and providing two assists.
He has recorded six goals and six assists in 13 appearances across all competitions this season.
The midfielder, whose contract with Barcelona runs until 2031, remains an important part of manager Hansi Flick’s plans.
