Victor Osimhen has dedicated Galatasaray’s 2-1 victory over Fenerbahçe to head coach Okan Buruk following the Turkish Super Lig derby at RAMS Park.

The Nigeria international scored both goals for the hosts in Monday’s fiercely contested encounter, extending his scoring run to three goals in his last two matches for the Turkish champions.
Osimhen said the victories over Lille and Fenerbahçe were gifts to Buruk, who recently celebrated his 53rd birthday.
“We love our coach Okan Buruk very much. Beyond being our technical director, we love him like a father,” Osimhen was quoted as saying by Sporx.
“He’s a very good person both on and off the field. We wanted to gift him victories against both Lille and Fenerbahçe, and we succeeded.”
The win strengthened Galatasaray’s position in the title race, with Osimhen once again proving decisive in a major fixture.
The victory took Galatasaray to the top of the Turkish Super Lig table with 22 points from nine matches. Osimhen scored in the 29th and 44th minutes, while İrfan Can Kahveci netted for Fenerbahçe in the 62nd minute.
