Chibunna Stanley, popularly known as Funnybone, has explained why he keeps his wife and children away from social media.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Moraya Show, the Nigerian comedian said he chooses to keep his family life private for safety and personal reasons.
“Yes, I am married with two kids,” he confirmed during the interview, adding that he avoids sharing their lives online deliberately.
“In a world where people are just there to look at what is not looking at them, it is safer for you to keep your personal life private,” Funnybone said.
He also drew a clear line between his public persona and private life: “Outside and on the stage, I am Funnybone, but at home, I am Chibunna.”
Looking ahead, the comedian expressed optimism about the future of Nigeria’s comedy industry. He said the sector has the potential to gain global recognition but stressed the need for improvement in production, packaging, and marketing.
“We are hoping to export our craft globally, but the ecosystem needs to change,” he noted.
