Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has said she would end a serious relationship if she became attracted to another man she considered more attractive.
The singer made the disclosure while responding to a woman seeking advice on her “Ask Ayra Starr” show. She said she would rather break up with her current partner than date two people at the same time.
“If I’m in a serious relationship with a guy and then I find another guy more attractive, I would break up with him instead of dating both of them at the same time,” Ayra Starr said.
She added that she does not believe a person can love two people at the same time and advised anyone facing such a situation to take time away from relationships to understand their feelings.
The “Rush” hitmaker also advised people not to abandon their friends after entering romantic relationships.
According to her, partners should not isolate each other from friends, stressing the need for a healthy balance between friendships and romantic relationships.
The comments were made as part of Ayra Starr’s ongoing relationship advice segment and should not be interpreted as a disclosure about her current relationship status.
