Social media critic Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has alleged that Lagos-based businessman and auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD, introduced relationship influencer Blessing CEO to drugs.

VeryDarkMan made the claim in a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday while announcing his decision to help secure Blessing CEO’s release from custody.
According to him, Blessing CEO and IVD were allegedly involved in drug use and injected themselves with drugs.
He further claimed that Blessing CEO eventually sold some of her properties, including cars, to fund the alleged habit before resorting to fraud.
VeryDarkMan also alleged that she collected money for advertising jobs without delivering them and used the proceeds to fund drug use.
He linked the allegations to Blessing CEO’s previous claim that she was suffering from stage-four cancer, alleging that the claim was part of an attempt to raise money.
“I recently discovered that Blessing CEO and IVD were drug addicts. They were injecting themselves with drugs,” he said.
He added that he had now decided to help Blessing CEO and urged the public not to send her money if she is released, arguing that she should undergo rehabilitation.
Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, is currently in custody over multiple fraud-related cases. She has pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
In June, she was arraigned over an alleged N69.15 million property fraud involving Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited. The EFCC alleged that she falsely represented herself as the owner of a property in Lekki and obtained the money from the company.
She was subsequently granted N20 million bail in that case in July, while she had earlier secured N10 million bail in a separate N36 million fraud case. She has, however, reportedly remained in custody after being unable to meet the bail conditions.
The controversy surrounding her continued detention intensified last month following reports that she lost her second son, Bryan, while in custody. Actress Doris Ogala also warned the public against an unauthorised fundraising campaign launched in Blessing CEO’s name.
IVD has not publicly responded to VeryDarkMan’s latest allegations as of the time of filing this report.
