Former Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimović has hailed Rodri following Spain national football team’s 2–0 victory over France national football team in their FIFA World Cup semi-final clash on Tuesday.
Speaking on Fox Sports, Ibrahimovic described the Manchester City midfielder as “magnificent,” highlighting his all-round impact on the game.
“I have to name Rodri. He was all over the pitch. What a game,” Ibrahimovic said.
“He doesn’t always get the credit he deserves, but in this match, he was everywhere.”
Rodri, a Ballon d’Or winner, has been a key figure in Spain’s campaign, delivering consistent performances throughout the tournament.
