2027: Adeleye Pushes Grassroots Drive in Ifo/Ewekoro

Former Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Adijat Adeleye, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council in Ifo/Ewekoro to embrace discipline, coordination and results-driven grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Adeleye, the APC candidate for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, gave the charge during the inauguration of the council at Ifo Town Hall, Ogun State.

She said the campaign council would work with existing local government structures to strengthen stakeholder engagement and coordinate activities at the polling-unit level.

Adeleye also unveiled her legislative blueprint, pledging to amplify constituents’ concerns, connect residents to development opportunities and promote greater citizen participation.

She said the campaign would involve ward-by-ward mobilisation and engagements with traditional rulers, religious leaders, market associations, youth and women groups, artisans, farmers and transport workers.

APC chairmen in Ifo and Ewekoro, Olumide Oduwole and Ayinde Sogbamu, respectively, alongside Deputy Director-General Israel Jolaosho and other party leaders, urged members to work towards the victory of all APC candidates.

At the event, appointment letters were presented to Jolaosho as Deputy Director-General, Lukman Kiadese as Secretary, and Wole Enilolobo as Chairman of the Independent Campaign Group.
