Nollywood actress and reality TV star Venita Akpofure has revealed that she mostly gets approached by younger men despite being 39.
Speaking on the Tea With Tay podcast, Venita said her youthful appearance gives her an advantage in dating, claiming people could believe she was 28.
“I am 39, but if I told you I was 28, you would believe me. I only get approached by younger men. They are more courageous than the older ones,” she said.
The mother of two added that while younger men may not have much money, they make up for it with confidence and boldness.
“What they don’t have in their bank accounts, they make up for with bravery and audacity,” she said.
Venita was previously romantically linked to fellow BBNaija All Stars housemate Adekunle Olopade. The relationship ended after the reality show, with Adekunle confirming in 2024 that they no longer communicated.
Adekunle later said in 2025 that getting into a relationship during the show was one thing he would change about his experience.
