Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna made his Premier League debut on Sunday as Brighton & Hove Albion thrashed Aston Villa 4-0 at the Amex Stadium.

The 19-year-old came off the bench in the 78th minute, replacing Mats Wieffer as Brighton comfortably controlled the game.
Yohanna had made his competitive debut for Brighton three days earlier, featuring as a late substitute in the club’s 0-0 UEFA Conference League play-off first-leg draw away to Tromsø.
Brighton secured all three points against Villa through an own goal from Victor Lindelöf, Maxim De Cuyper, and a first-half brace from Jack Hinshelwood.
Yohanna joined Brighton from Swedish club AIK in the summer on a five-year contract and has been retained with the first-team squad for the 2026/27 season.
He will hope for more playing time when Brighton host Tromsø in the second leg of their Conference League play-off on Thursday.
