PromiseLand Innovations Limited is set to launch its Nigerian-owned e-hailing platform, ProTaxi, on October 1, 2026, as the company opens registration for drivers.
The company said the initiative is targeting opportunities for 1,000 drivers, with the aim of combining economic empowerment with technology-driven urban transportation.
According to the company’s CEO, Ambassador Lawrence Oloche Emmanuel, ProTaxi will focus on affordable, safe, and reliable transportation while promoting environmentally friendly mobility through electric and other clean-energy vehicles.
The platform will allow passengers to book rides through its app and connect with registered drivers. It also features driver verification, real-time trip tracking, ratings and reviews, multiple payment options, and live-location sharing.
PromiseLand said drivers will have flexible working options, allowing them to choose when and how often they operate.
The October 1 launch will mark PromiseLand’s entry into Nigeria’s growing e-hailing market, with the company positioning ProTaxi as a homegrown alternative focused on affordable and cleaner transportation.
The ProTaxi rider app is already available for iPhone and Android devices ahead of the launch.
