Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Kola has clarified that he never intended to pursue a romantic relationship with fellow contestant Dede during their time on the show.
Speaking during the second episode of the reunion, Kola stated that although his actions suggested interest, he did not have plans to date her.
He added that he never made any explicit declaration about wanting a relationship with Dede.
Kola’s friend, Bright Morgan, also revealed that he had advised him against continuing the pursuit, suggesting that genuine affection should not be difficult.
Meanwhile, Dede offered a different perspective, explaining that their relationship became strained after Kola referred to her dismissively in a post-show interview.
She disclosed that Kola later reached out to reconcile but behaved inconsistently in public settings.
Dede further alleged that they had private interactions after the show, including a meeting at a social event and discussions about their time in the house.
However, Kola denied claims that he invited her to his residence.
