Nollywood actress Jumoke Odetola has announced that she is entering a new phase of her life as a minister and preacher of the gospel.
The Yoruba actress made the announcement on Instagram after her recent posts raised concerns among friends, family, and colleagues, with some wondering about her absence from the screen.
Odetola said there was nothing wrong with her, explaining that she had been responding to what she described as God’s call.
“I am entering a new season with God. I am now a preacher of the gospel. Yes! You heard right! A minister,” she said.
She explained that she had considered keeping the development private but decided to speak publicly about it because of her plans to preach the gospel openly.
Odetola also appealed for prayers as she begins the new chapter.
“I need all the prayers in this season. When God compels you, you may delay, but you cannot escape the call,” she said.
