“I Wasn’t Scammed” — Bella Shmurda Slams Viral Report

Popular Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has dismissed viral reports alleging he lost $4 million in a Lagos property scam, describing the claims as false and misleading.

The rumors began circulating after a report claimed the singer broke down in tears during a live session on Instagram over an alleged fraudulent deal. The story quickly gained traction across social media, sparking concern among fans.

Reacting via his Instagram Story on Friday, Bella Shmurda refuted the claims, stating, “Fake, I wasn’t scammed. Trust bloggers at your own risk. Doing fine and happy. Peace & Love.”

In another post, he mocked the report, writing, “4 million dollars keh?? This country no go sleep!!”

Further clarification from sources close to the singer indicated that the viral clip being circulated is not recent but an old video from 2023 that has been taken out of context.

The clarification has since eased concerns among fans, many of whom had expressed worry over the singer’s well-being following the initial reports.
