A Ghanaian court has remanded Harold Duodu Norman, husband of actress and fashion personality Nana Akua Addo, for two weeks in an ongoing domestic abuse case.

The court also granted Nana Akua Addo custody of their two daughters to safeguard their welfare while proceedings continue, according to reports by Ghanaian media outlets.
The development follows allegations of physical, emotional, and economic abuse made by Nana Akua Addo, whose real name is Rosemond Akua Adobea, in a petition to the Ghana Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
The police said Norman was arrested on August 27, 2026, to assist with investigations and was later granted police inquiry bail. He missed a scheduled court appearance on October 7 after his lawyer reportedly informed investigators that he had been hospitalized.
Police investigators visited the hospital to verify the claim, while the CID said it was working with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to ensure the family received appropriate welfare support.
The allegations remain subject to legal proceedings.
