Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, has announced plans to establish a General Hospital in Danja Local Government Area in 2027.

Governor Radda said the project had been captured in the state’s 2027 budget and was aimed at improving access to quality healthcare, particularly for rural communities.
The governor disclosed this when stakeholders from Danja visited the Government House in Katsina to appreciate the turbaning of the District Head of Dabai, Alhaji Gambo Abdullahi, as Dausayin Katsina.
Governor Radda also described traditional institutions as key partners in promoting peace, security and unity, pledging continued support for traditional rulers.
He assured the delegation that the state government would consider other requests and concerns presented by the people of Danja.

The planned hospital is part of Governor Radda’s wider healthcare expansion drive, which has seen new and upgraded General Hospitals established in several parts of Katsina State.
