Fulham are preparing to offer Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey a new long-term contract as they look to secure his future at Craven Cottage.

Bassey, 26, has one year remaining on his current deal, which runs until the summer of 2027. Fulham also has an option to extend the contract by another year to 2028.
According to TEAMtalk, the Premier League club are keen to reward the defender with improved terms despite interest from Italian giants Inter Milan.
Bassey joined Fulham from Ajax in July 2023 and has established himself as a key member of the squad. He was named the club’s Player of the Season for 2024/25 after an impressive campaign.
The Nigeria international has made 105 appearances for Fulham in all competitions since his arrival and can operate at both centre-back and left-back.
