Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has dismissed speculation that her daughter has reconciled with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The rumors surfaced after Regina was recently spotted at Nwoko’s residence, prompting speculation on social media that the couple had settled their differences.
Regina’s sister, Destiny Daniels, had earlier clarified that the actress visited the residence to see her children and remained single.
Rita has now offered a similar explanation, saying Regina was invited by Nwoko to see their children.
She disclosed this in a private chat with actor Uche Maduagwu, who shared the exchange on Instagram.
“It is well, my dear. She was invited to see her children; that was what happened. Thanks a lot for your support and concern,” Rita said.
The clarification comes amid reactions from some celebrities who had publicly supported Regina during her reported marital dispute with Nwoko.
For now, there is no confirmed indication that the estranged couple has reconciled.
