The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has arrested four people over the alleged demolition of a classroom at Unguwa Uku Primary School in Tarauni Local Government Area.

PCACC Chairman Saidu Yahaya said the investigation followed a complaint from residents over the alleged destruction of the classroom.
Yahaya said preliminary findings indicated that the school’s head teacher allegedly worked with some members of the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC) and the Education Secretary of Tarauni Local Government to demolish the classroom and sell its iron rods and roofing materials without approval from the relevant authorities.
He said four suspects had been arrested and would be arraigned after the investigation is concluded.
The commission urged residents to report attempts to vandalize or illegally dispose of public and community assets.
