EPL: Chelsea confirm Rosenior will take over after Fulham match

Chelsea have confirmed that Under-21 head coach Calum McFarlane will be in charge of the first team for their Premier League match against Fulham on Wednesday.

McFarlane, who has coached Chelsea’s Under-21 team since the summer, also managed the senior team in Saturday’s 1–1 draw with Manchester City. This came after former head coach Enzo Maresca left the club.

Speaking to the media at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Monday, McFarlane talked about the change in coaching staff. This was shortly after Chelsea announced Liam Rosenior as their new head coach.

The Fulham match will be McFarlane’s second and final game as temporary manager. Rosenior will officially take charge of the team after that match.
