Burna Boy and Shakira have set a new music record at the FIFA World Cup after their 2026 official anthem, “Dai Dai,” surpassed 800 million combined streams.
The song recorded over 200 million streams on Spotify and more than 600 million views on YouTube Music, making it the most-streamed official World Cup song of the tournament.
Tournament data also shows “Dai Dai” is now the most-viewed World Cup music video since Shakira’s 2014 hit, “La La La (Brazil 2014).”
Released ahead of the 2026 tournament, the track gained global traction as fans adopted it during matches and celebrations across host cities.
The milestone cements “Dai Dai” as the defining soundtrack of the 2026 World Cup and marks another major global achievement for both artists.
