Singer Brymo has accused Burna Boy, Davido, and 2Face of knowing about an alleged attempt to recruit him into a secret cult in 2019.

Brymo made the allegation during a recent interview on the Lahor Talk podcast, while discussing his long-running feud with Burna Boy.
He claimed he was lured to Chevron in 2019 under the guise of being hosted, only to be pressured to join a cult. According to him, the names of Burna Boy, Davido, and 2Face were mentioned by those who allegedly confronted him.
Brymo challenged the three artists to publicly deny any involvement in the incident.
“I want them to tell me that they truly don’t know what happened to me at Chevron,” he said, adding that he was not seeking an apology.
“I’m not asking for an apology. Just be a man and say, ‘Brymo, I have nothing to do with it.’”
Brymo said the incident occurred seven years ago and vowed to continue speaking about it until the artists respond.
The latest allegation comes amid Brymo’s renewed clash with Burna Boy. In 2023, Brymo accused Burna Boy of borrowing from his unreleased project, Macabre, claims Burna Boy did not publicly engage with directly. Burna Boy later appeared to mock Brymo in a freestyle with the line, “Hustle makes you no go fall off like Brymo.”
Brymo has also previously made allegations involving Burna Boy, Davido, and 2Face, including claims that they were connected to an alleged attack against him in 2019. The artists have not publicly confirmed Brymo’s latest claims, and there is no independent evidence establishing their involvement in the alleged cult recruitment.
