Suspected bandits have released a video showing an abducted couple and their baby daughter in captivity in Kaduna State, demanding N300 million for their release.
The family was abducted on October 5 when armed men invaded Alrahus Estate in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area. A pregnant woman was also reportedly kidnapped during the attack.
In the video, the man, identified as Ahmad Abubakar Zakka, appealed to Nigerians to help secure his family’s freedom. His wife and baby were seen beside him as an armed man pointed a rifle at his head.
Zakka said the kidnappers were demanding N300 million and pleaded with the public to intervene.
The incident has raised fresh concerns about insecurity in Millennium City, where suspected bandits reportedly moved from house to house during the raid.
