The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has reinstated Ibrahim Usman Auyo, the member representing Auyo/Hadejia/Kafin Hausa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, following a review of his suspension.

The decision was conveyed in a letter signed by the state party chairman, Ahmed Garba MK, stating that the party’s State Executive Committee had approved the reinstatement with immediate effect.
Auyo was suspended on May 31, 2026, over alleged anti-party activities. The party said it had reviewed the circumstances surrounding the suspension and was satisfied with his loyalty and obedience to its leadership.
The APC congratulated the lawmaker on his reinstatement and urged him to continue contributing to the party’s growth, particularly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party had also suspended six other officials over alleged anti-party activities.
