President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja for Makkah, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday to perform Umrah and pray for Nigeria’s peace, unity and stability.
The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
According to Onanuga, the trip will provide Tinubu with an opportunity for spiritual reflection and prayers for the country’s continued progress.
Before departing, the President is expected to inaugurate equipment acquired by the Nigerian Air Force at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria next week after completing the pilgrimage.
