Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has denied allegations by singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, that he bit him during their celebrity boxing rematch in Lagos.
The bout, held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, ended in controversy after Portable was disqualified for breaching the rules and briefly walking out of the ring.
Following the fight, Portable claimed Okocha bit him on the back and used illegal holds during the contest.
Reacting during an appearance on TVC Entertainment, Okocha dismissed the accusation as false, stating that he wore a mouth guard throughout the match, making it impossible to bite his opponent.
He also insisted he had no reason to engage in such an act, urging Portable to accept defeat.
The rematch was part of the “Chaos in the Ring” series, which has drawn attention for its mix of entertainment and boxing, as well as the long-running rivalry between both celebrities.
