Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has appointed Alhaji Aminu Alhassan as the State Coordinator of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Program, effective August 1, 2026.

Alhassan, a seasoned public servant, brings experience in public administration, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, and program implementation. He has previously held several strategic roles in the state.
Governor Radda said the appointment underscores his administration’s commitment to strengthening social protection systems by placing competent professionals in key positions.
He expressed confidence in Alhassan’s ability to enhance service delivery and ensure that government interventions reach vulnerable populations across the state.
The governor also urged the new coordinator to discharge his duties with integrity, accountability, and dedication.
The Conditional Cash Transfer Program is a key social intervention aimed at supporting low-income households and reducing poverty through targeted financial assistance.
