Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said he would still have built a career in entertainment even if music had not worked out for him.

Speaking in an interview with PlayKisstra, the Grammy-nominated artist explained that his passion for show business would likely have led him to run a record label or media company instead of performing.
“I’d probably be a label owner or have a media house because I’ve always loved entertainment,” Davido said. “Even if I was working in my dad’s office, I can see myself having a side business like a music label.”
The singer also noted that he has a degree in Business Management, which could have enabled him to pursue a corporate career if needed.
“I have a BSc in Business Management, so I could try to get a job at a place like Barclays. I can actually get a job; I have a résumé,” he added.
Davido rose to prominence in 2012 with the release of “Dami Duro,” the hit single from his debut album Omo Baba Olowo.
