Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has publicly accused her estranged husband, Frederick Leonard, of engaging in a relationship with a married woman, describing both individuals in harsh terms.
The actress made the claims via her Instagram story, where she shared a video allegedly showing Leonard and the woman in question.
In her post, Ovire urged Leonard to appear before a customary court on June 23, warning against avoiding the proceedings for a second time.
She alleged that although Leonard had initiated divorce discussions, he failed to personally attend court after being served, opting instead to send legal representation.
Ovire further claimed that her estranged husband had previously denied her allegations publicly but became aware of the evidence outlined in her divorce petition upon being served.
She maintained that she intends to present proof during the next court session to finalise the dissolution of their marriage.
The actress also criticised Leonard’s actions, alleging that the woman involved is married with children, and questioned his conduct in light of cultural expectations.
As of the time of reporting, Leonard has not publicly responded to the latest allegations.
