The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has listed Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 election.
Governor Radda appears on the commission’s final list of candidates published on October 10, 2026, ahead of the governorship election scheduled for February 6, 2027.
His deputy, Faruk Lawal Jobe, is expected to remain his running mate as Governor Radda seeks a second term in office.
INEC’s publication forms part of preparations for the 2027 general elections, with candidates from various political parties listed to contest governorship seats across 26 states.
