Peter Okoye of the defunct music duo P-Square has accused his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), of using public criticism against him to damage his reputation.

The dispute follows backlash Peter received online after questioning the impact of Nigerian languages in response to a fan’s query. His comment sparked widespread criticism on social media.
In reaction, Rudeboy distanced himself from Peter’s remarks in a series of posts on X, stating, “I’m a nobody… Without the culture, native language.”
Responding on Wednesday, Peter alleged that his brother was exploiting the situation to “pull him down,” claiming this pattern of behavior dates back years.
“Yes, people are dragging me over my statement, and that is okay. I accept that. But deliberately twisting my words and using petty tactics to damage my reputation says a lot,” he said.
Peter further questioned why Rudeboy “jumps on the bandwagon” whenever he faces public criticism, reigniting tensions between the estranged brothers.
