U.S. President Donald Trump has drawn attention online after describing rapper Nicki Minaj as “so hot” during a White House event.
Speaking at a Rose Garden luncheon on Monday, Trump introduced the artist while praising her talent and public support. He referred to Minaj as “a woman that is respected by everybody” and added a personal compliment, calling her “so hot.”
“We also have a woman that is respected and so hot… she’s got real talent; we have Nicki Minaj,” the president said.
The remark quickly circulated on social media, sparking mixed reactions.
Minaj later shared photos from the event on X, appearing unfazed by the comment. “Whoa! #WhiteHouseBarbie with her favorite President of all time!” she wrote.
The rapper has previously been seen with Trump at public events in Washington, where she described herself as a strong supporter of the president.
