Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have filled Ranchers Bees Stadium in Kaduna ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s arrival for the party’s 2027 presidential campaign flag-off on Saturday.
Supporters began arriving as early as 7 a.m., singing, dancing and chanting slogans in Hausa and English in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Many wore APC-branded T-shirts, caps and traditional outfits bearing images of the President and state governors, particularly those of Kaduna and Kano.
Slogans heard at the venue included “Tinubu Again,” “Tinubu Our Father” and “Tinubu Continuity,” while others expressed support for Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani’s second-term bid.
Major roads leading to the stadium were barricaded as security arrangements were tightened ahead of the rally.
The campaign launch is expected to bring together APC governors, party leaders and supporters from across the country to mobilise support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
