President Bola Tinubu has ordered security agencies to track down those responsible for a deadly attack in Kaduna State that left about 30 people dead, including women and children.
The attack occurred early Monday in Naridon Village, Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area, where assailants also burned homes.
In a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu condemned the incident as an “unprovoked act of terror” against innocent civilians and warned that the perpetrators would not escape justice.
He directed the Armed Forces, police, and intelligence agencies to intensify operations in the affected areas to restore normalcy.
The president also extended condolences to the victims’ families, the Kaduna State government, and Governor Uba Sani, reaffirming the federal government’s commitment to addressing security challenges.
Tinubu urged residents to support security agencies with credible information to aid swift response and prevent further attacks.
