President Bola Tinubu has praised Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda for his leadership and efforts to address insecurity, education, and agricultural development in the state.
Tinubu made the remarks in a birthday message congratulating Governor Radda on his 57th birthday.
The President described Governor Radda as a committed progressive, seasoned economist, and grassroots administrator whose public service continues to inspire young Nigerians.
He particularly commended Governor Radda’s decision to take budget consultations to all 361 wards in Katsina, allowing residents to identify priority projects.
According to President Tinubu, the approach has “redefined inclusive governance,” while Governor Radda’s investments in security, education, and agriculture align with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The President also urged the governor to remain committed to peace, development, and improving the lives of vulnerable residents.
Governor Radda also received birthday messages from the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, with its chairman, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, commending his dedication to the development of Katsina State and Nigeria.
President Tinubu’s latest message comes more than a year after his visit to Katsina, where he commissioned projects including the state’s Agricultural Mechanization Centre and the Eastern Bypass.
Radda assumed office as Katsina governor in May 2023 and is a member of the All Progressives Congress.
