Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has inaugurated President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council in the state, bringing together members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Soludo inaugurated the council on Sunday at the International Convention Centre in Awka, where he urged members of both parties to unite and mobilize support for Tinubu’s re-election.
He called for grassroots mobilization across the state’s 21 local government areas, particularly at ward and polling unit levels, describing political cooperation with the Federal Government as vital to the South-East’s development and political relevance.
The governor said Tinubu’s economic reforms had helped stabilize the economy, attract investments, and increase resources available to states. He also cited federal infrastructure projects as reasons the region should strengthen its relationship with the Federal Government.
Soludo urged residents of Anambra and other South-East states to support Tinubu in the 2027 election, noting that the region had largely voted against him in 2023 despite his administration’s efforts in the area.
He formally inaugurated the council after attendees sang Tinubu’s campaign slogan, “On the mandate we shall stand.”
The governor added that the full campaign structure, comprising APGA and APC members, would be unveiled soon.
Soludo was previously named Anambra State coordinator in the APC’s expanded 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, despite belonging to APGA.
