Former Big Brother Naija reality star, Segun Olusemo, popularly known as Sheggz, has denied claims that he financially depended on his ex-girlfriend, Bella Okagbue, during their relationship.

Sheggz made the clarification during a recent interview with media personality Oyemykke, saying the financial claims gained attention after their four-year relationship ended without marriage.
“I’m not a gigolo. Bella and I split the bills 70-30, and I did more,” he said.
The reality star said both he and Bella contributed financially to the relationship but maintained that he covered the larger share of their expenses.
Sheggz also said he provided for Bella during their relationship and bought her cars, adding that the negative narrative about their finances emerged because the relationship eventually ended.
The former couple, who met during the 2022 BBNaija ‘Level Up’ season, confirmed the end of their relationship in August 2026 after dating for about four years.
Their breakup has since sparked public controversy, including competing claims over money and other aspects of their relationship. Bella’s lawyers have alleged that Sheggz owed her money, while Sheggz’s side has maintained that he was a major financial contributor. The allegations remain disputed.
