Dangote Cement Plc has approved a total dividend payout of N753.8 billion to shareholders, increasing its dividend by 50 percent from N30 to N45 per share.

The decision, ratified at the company’s Annual General Meeting, marks the highest dividend payout in the firm’s history and follows a strong financial performance in 2025.
The company reported earnings per share of N59.86, reflecting solid growth despite challenging economic conditions.
Chairman Emmanuel Ikazoboh said the increase highlights the company’s commitment to delivering long-term value to shareholders. He noted that the payout reflects strong earnings, disciplined capital management, and confidence in the company’s future.
Group Managing Director/CEO Arvind Pathak added that the dividend boost is supported by Dangote Cement’s strong cash flow and balance sheet. He reaffirmed the company’s focus on expanding its pan-African operations while sustaining returns to investors.
Dangote Cement remains one of the top dividend-paying companies on the Nigerian Exchange, with a track record of consistent shareholder returns.
