Portugal have reportedly provisionally suspended Cristiano Ronaldo after he left the national team camp following a dispute with head coach Jorge Jesus.

The 41-year-old forward faces a possible ban of one to six months under Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) disciplinary rules for leaving national team duties without justification. A final decision on the length of the suspension is expected from the federation’s disciplinary council.
Ronaldo recently apologized to his teammates and Portuguese fans, admitting that his decision to leave the camp was wrong and that he deserved to face disciplinary consequences.
Despite the fallout, the Al-Nassr captain reaffirmed his commitment to representing Portugal.
