Human rights activist and former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) senatorial aspirant, Aisha Yesufu, has urged Nigerians to vote against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections, warning that continued support for the party would prolong insecurity in the country.

In a statement shared on her verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, Aisha Yesufu linked rising cases of killings and abductions across Nigeria to the current administration, stressing that voters must take responsibility for change at the polls.
“Any vote for APC is a vote for these terrorists to continue what they are doing,” she said.
Aisha Yesufu also called on eligible Nigerians, particularly those aged 18 and above, to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), describing it as a key tool for driving change.
According to her, the “miracle” many citizens hope for in addressing Nigeria’s challenges can be achieved through active participation in the electoral process.
