Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, have announced that they are expecting their first child.
The couple confirmed the pregnancy on Thursday, October 8, through Instagram posts featuring maternity photographs showing Jarvis’ baby bump.
Jarvis described the pregnancy as a new chapter in their relationship, saying they had gone from being a couple to husband and wife and now soon-to-be parents.
She wrote, “A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer.”
The announcement comes after months of pregnancy speculation surrounding the couple.
In August, shortly after their traditional wedding, Jarvis had dismissed rumors about her pregnancy, attributing changes in her appearance to weight gain. Peller also previously denied that she was pregnant.
The couple later held their civil wedding in Lagos on July 29, followed by their white wedding in August.
Their latest announcement has now officially confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
