Over 100 suspected “imported” voters have reportedly been arrested in Osun State ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.

The voters were allegedly found with newly issued Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) while staying at the residence of Hon. Abiola Waheed Ibrahim, a member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Irewole/Isokan Constituency.
A video circulating on social media shows the individuals being questioned by security operatives at the residence.
In the footage, Ibrahim reportedly acknowledged that the group had been staying at his home and said they were there to vote for the Accord Party.
The incident comes amid heightened tensions and allegations of electoral irregularities ahead of the Osun governorship election. Recent reports have also featured concerns over the movement and collection of PVCs in the state.
However, as of the time of filing this report, there was no independent confirmation from the police or the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the number of people arrested or the circumstances surrounding the arrests.
The Osun State House of Assembly lists Abiola Waheed Ibrahim as the lawmaker representing Irewole/Isokan.
