Rising Nollywood actress and former beauty queen Ifeoma Nebe has said that growing fame often attracts increased attention from men, cautioning entertainers to remain disciplined to avoid distractions.

In an interview with Potpourri, Nebe addressed claims that some women use acting as a cover for prostitution, noting that personal choices vary and should not be generalized. However, she emphasized that popularity naturally comes with advances from the opposite sex, which can become a challenge without self-control.
“Prostitution is a personal thing, and I cannot generalize people’s morals, but when you become popular, you tend to receive a lot of attention from the opposite sex, which can be distracting if one is not disciplined,” she said.
Reflecting on her career, Nebe revealed that acting had always been her passion, adding that she embraced the opportunity when it came.
“I have always known what I wanted my future to look like, so when the opportunity came, I did not hesitate,” she said.
The actress also disclosed that she is still waiting for a role that will fully challenge her abilities.
“I am yet to get my most challenging role. I am patiently waiting for one that will push me further,” she added.
Nebe advised aspiring actors to have alternative sources of income, stressing that financial stability is crucial in the early stages of an acting career.
“Have a source of income or a skill to help you navigate the industry when earnings are still low,” she advised.
