Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has described Kylian Mbappé as an “incredible” player after the France forward scored a hat-trick in Wednesday’s 4-1 LaLiga victory over Real Sociedad.

Mbappé opened the scoring in the 40th minute before Luka Sučić equalised for Sociedad. The Frenchman restored Madrid’s lead after the break, while Vinícius Júnior added a third before Mbappé completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute.
Speaking after the match, Mourinho praised Mbappé’s achievements and said he believes the striker is determined to create more history at Real Madrid.
“I don’t like comparing players, but this guy is incredible,” Mourinho said.
“I’m really happy that he made history at the World Cup because there are 25 world champions, but only one is eternal in football: the player who has scored the most goals in the World Cup.
“He’s made that history, but I see him with a lot of hunger to make history with Real Madrid.”
The victory marked Mourinho’s first home match at the Santiago Bernabéu since returning to Real Madrid, more than 13 years after his previous spell at the club.
