Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has joined First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for the commissioning of key projects in Ogun State.

Governor Radda attended the commissioning of the 108-unit President Muhammadu Buhari Estate at Kobape, Abeokuta, built under the Ogun State Government’s housing program. Recent reports indicate that the estate, which had previously stalled, was revived and completed by the Abiodun administration.
He also joined the dignitaries at the commissioning of the Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence, a 250-bed tertiary healthcare facility in Abeokuta designed to provide specialized medical services to residents of Ogun and neighboring communities. The facility describes itself as a new tertiary hospital equipped for advanced diagnostic, surgical, emergency, and specialist care.
The activities formed part of Tinubu’s official visit to Ogun State and included the zonal launch of the National Community Food Bank Program at Makun, Sagamu, where food items were distributed to vulnerable residents.
The food bank program is a nationwide initiative aimed at improving access to nutritious food for vulnerable households, particularly young children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. It is being implemented through partnerships involving government agencies and other stakeholders.
The events brought together governors, ministers, First Ladies and other stakeholders, highlighting ongoing collaboration on housing, healthcare, food security, and social welfare.
