Nigeria’s U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets, has departed for China to compete in the 2026 China International Youth Football Tournament.

The competition will take place from July 5 to 11 in Yinchuan, featuring four countries: hosts China, Australia, Tanzania, and Nigeria.
Head coach Uwejamomere Eboboritse leads a 20-man squad to the tournament, alongside assistants Kalli Mohammed Kachalla and Abdullahi Isa.
All matches are scheduled to be played at the Yinchuan Sports Centre Helanshan Stadium.
The tournament is part of Nigeria’s preparations for the upcoming WAFU B U-17 Championship later this year, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
