Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has approved the appointment of six new Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr. Inyingi S. I. Brown.
The newly appointed officials are Mr. Freddy Ndigbara, Mrs. Fortune Akpila, Dr. Promise Oguzie, Mrs. Ibisoye Lolomari Nwankwo, Mrs. Ibiyemiebara Joseph Uzoma, and Mrs. Mercy Dagogo Iboroma.
According to the statement, the appointees are scheduled to be sworn in on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the State Executive Council Chambers.
The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place by 12 noon, with the governor presiding.
