Fraud Cases: Blessing CEO Leaves Kirikiri Prison

Nigerian social media personality and self-acclaimed relationship expert Blessing CEO has reportedly regained her freedom after spending about four months in custody at Kirikiri prison, Lagos, over alleged fraud.

Actress Doris Ogala announced her release in an Instagram post on Saturday, October 24, sharing a video call with the influencer and expressing excitement over the development.

Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, had faced multiple fraud-related cases involving alleged sums of ₦36 million, ₦13 million and ₦69.15 million.

In May, she was remanded over an alleged ₦36 million property fraud case. She was subsequently granted bail in separate cases, including ₦10 million bail in June and ₦20 million bail in July, but reportedly remained in custody after failing to meet the bail conditions.

Her detention also drew public attention following reports that she lost her son to an asthma attack while in custody.

However, her reported release does not necessarily mean the cases against her have been concluded. The allegations remain subject to court proceedings.
