Femi Azeez could make his Brighton & Hove Albion debut when they face Coventry City on Sunday.
The Nigeria international joined Brighton from Millwall on transfer deadline day but has yet to feature after suffering a minor hamstring injury.
Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler said Azeez was expected to train with the squad and could be available for the trip to Coventry.
“I hope he will be an option. He will definitely train today with the squad, and hopefully everything is fine,” Hurzeler said.
Azeez joined Brighton after making 69 appearances and scoring 13 goals for Millwall.
Brighton are unbeaten in their last two league games and drew 1-1 with Leeds in their most recent Premier League fixture.
