Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has publicly apologised to her colleague, Laide Bakare, following backlash over her reaction during a recent interview.

Badmus faced criticism on social media after her reaction when Bakare’s name was mentioned on the Curiosity Made Me Asked podcast.
In a series of Instagram posts on Tuesday, the actress acknowledged that her response could have appeared dismissive and expressed regret over her conduct.
“On reflection, I realise my reaction when Laide Bakare’s name was mentioned during my recent interview could have come across as dismissive, and for that, I sincerely apologise,” she wrote.
Addressing Bakare directly, Badmus called for an end to their differences, saying she chose peace and genuinely wished her colleague well.
“Joo maa binu (please don’t be offended). No negativity. No grudges. Let love lead and peace reign,” she added.
