Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, has dismissed rumours that the Afrobeats star is secretly working with the All Progressives Congress (APC), claiming the singer has rejected millions of dollars to endorse presidential candidates.
In a statement posted on Instagram on Sunday, Israel described the allegations as fabricated stories aimed at generating social media traffic.
He maintained that Davido had not changed his political position, adding that the singer remained committed to standing with Nigerians amid the country’s economic challenges.
The controversy follows backlash against Davido after his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Davido had earlier said he had not chosen a presidential candidate for the 2027 election but ruled out supporting the APC, despite his uncle’s political position.
